Floating Thanks

Stopping in again this week for another CASE. I knew from the moment I saw this card from Maile Belles I had to try it.

I really like the layout of this one, I'm just not all that happy with my colour choices. I don't think the aqua mist cardstock (PTI) goes with the ink colour I chose (VersaColor Camelia), a cooler blue would have looked better.

I like how this card looked with the dragonfly from PTI 'Happy Trails' on Maile's blog, but I think I like the little bird's beak peeking out even more (also from Happy Trails). Sentiment was from last year's anniversary set, Botanical Blooms or something.

Next time I think I might stamp a pattern on the colored cardstock and do the overlay in vellum.
